Description
A description of (religious) festivals observed on the island of Mauritius. The study includes an introduction to the island and its people, followed by sections on the Chinese New Year, Hindu, Tamil, Muslim and Christian festivals. The collector gathered information for the study through interviews with Mauritians of different religious denominations, studying at the University of Leeds.
