Appendices contain newspaper cuttings relating to new markets in other parts of the country, information on the change of Loughborough market's position in bad weather, the Corporation workers' strike of October 1970, market slang, the cattle market, Loughborough Fair, market crosses, pitchers, and a transcript of a market pitcher's patter, recorded at Sneinton Market, Nottingham, in September 1970. Photographs taken by the collector show views of the market and individual stalls.
