Description
Solo female singer singing during the celebration of the Anastenari, a popular religious custom observed over four days in May by descendants of refugees from East Romelia (North-East Thrace), living in Greece since 1914. The people who celebrate the custom are known as Anastenarides. The singer is joined initially in song by other people present (?congregation/?family).
