[Tr. 1] [Collector announcement]; Albert Haddock, recorded [?in a pub] in Sutton on the 21 July 1975; recollects his childhood in the village; talks about water supplies; farming before World War One; Sutton Feast (September/October); Hospital Sunday and Tuesday; Chapel Anniversaries; describes Sunday routine of Chapel and Sunday School attendance; changes to the village; new houses; village shops; local wheelwright; food and food preparation; mother baking in a brick oven.
