[Tr. 3] Male [possibly recorded at Muston] describes farming techniques - harrowing and rolling a field; agricultural labour; Martinmas hiring; catching and eating sparrows; crow pie; sheep dyke at Muston (sheep washing) - wages (paid by the score); job as street cleaner and mender; talk of local people, shops, blacksmith (describes hooping wheels) - shoeing horses, and childhood recollections of the process; talks of carts/waggons (shaft/pole waggons); changes in the village of Muston; describes the local Meeting Room.
