Description
[Female - ?collector - tests the recording level]; unidentified male and female singers from North East England sing a selection of folk songs (unaccompanied). The majority are solo performances (one by a child), with one song sung by two females. The songs include 'Pulling Hard Against the Stream', 'Fair Flower of Northumberland' , 'Bonny at Morn', 'Bonny Fisher Lad' and 'Buy Broom Besoms'. The provenance of this compilation is unknown.
