Herbert Pelham-Jones talks about joke-telling: the jokes he tells, why, when and where; reference to the Jokers' Club and Hampshire Club; gives examples of stories, inc. tongue twisters (crude); jokes told are over fifty years old; examples of jokes made up by HPJ; talks about involvement in the Crazy Gang in 1924 (then known as Young Bloods of Variety); member of Westcliff Operatic and Dramatic Society; joke material; jokes on television; obscene jokes, double entendre; 'cabaret' in a Polperro (Cornwall) restaurant.
