Description
A. F. Mbulma, recorded in Ntcheu, relates three Chewa traditional narratives; unidentified male storyteller relates fourth narrative. The first three tales are entitled 'The Thunderbolt', 'The Two Brothers' and 'The Sacred Magic Snake'. These include the chanted responses of children, followed by translations in English [?by the collector]. The fourth narrative is entitled 'String Break', for which no translation is recorded.
