He also describes the actions, the text and learning this particular version. Recorded at Ford, 5 October 1970. [Tr. 6] Mark Bingham sings the 'Derby Tup', and recites the words of the play. He also describes the costume worn, blacking faces, the Tup itself and the order of events when performing in local pubs; times performed, money collected. Recorded at Ridgeway, 13 October 1970.
