Description
The Bradfield Evening Institute Choral Society, conducted by Bert Sorsby and accompanied by the Sheffield City Band, singing local Christmas carols. Recorded in Sheffield. Includes also Lol Goodison singing 'Mistletoe Bough' (twice), and Charlie Fretwell singing 'Christmas Tree'. This is a copy recording of Bert Sorsby's original tape being played in his house, made on the 10 December 1970. Conversation between the collector and Bert Sorsby is audible while the tape is playing.
