[Side 1] Will recalls helping plant up Dales Wood and Great Farley Wood, describes working on Lord Cobham's estate at Hagley Hall for 36 years, reflects on changing nature of estate especially reduction of farming, considers plans to turn estate and park into visitor attraction. [Side 2] Will talks about mother's work as nail-maker in Wildmoor, describes working conditions and recalls long hours on Friday to ensure allocation was completed, reflects on own work from aged 11, comments father died when William was 7 years old and mother remarried, recalls first job for Lord Cobham delivering milk round Hagley.
