[Side 1] Thomas tells anecdote about woman who complained about his use of 'bluff' [= blinkers] and chain on bull, describes occasion when she tried to obstruct him driving sheep through village. [Side 2] Thomas talks about severe winters, describes experiences supplying timber in Goyt Valley, regular trips to Whaley Bridge, recalls heavy snow around Buxton, discusses supplying timber to Buxton lime works, briefly talks about local lead mines.
