Description
[Side 1] Percy tells series of anecdotes about local farm workers, talks about his ability to deal with difficult horses and describes methods he used, including beating 'tit' [= small horse] with 'besom stave' [= broom handle]. [Side 2] Percy recalls calming horse using 'twitch' [= noose used to restrain horse], mentions meeting mother of deceased farm worker he had known before he joined army.
