Description
[Side 1] Bob tells several anecdotes about getting drunk as young man, incl. singing 'Hail smiling morn' on Isle of Man at Christmas aged 17, being thrown out of pub on Ramsey harbour after brawl, losing earring aged 16 while dancing on Ramsey Pier, falling in water singing 'Welcome poor Paddy home'. [Side 2] Bob tells an anecdote about local character known as 'the 'Blackpool diver', briefly mentions Fleetwood pleasure boats, recalls returning to shore and going to barracks to listen to band and swap stories at church.
