Description
[Side 1] Jack talks about River Trent, discusses height of tides, recalls ferry across to North Clifton, describes various flood defences now and in past. [Side 2] Jack discusses mowing by hand and ploughing with horses, recalls 'bird-tenting' [= scaring birds away from crops] as young lad, briefly talks about division of local estate following death of landowner.
