Description
[Side 1] Sid compares quality of water now and well water in past, recalls water rationing during drought of 1921, discusses local springs, talks about straw used to weave straw hats. [Side 2] Sid describes regular chore as child splitting bundles of straw for plaiting into straw hats, talks briefly about hardship endured by father when younger.
