[Side 1] Haigh, his daughter and friend discuss tradition of 'posset' [= drink of beer, milk and spices] on Christmas morning, lists ingredients incl. 'gratter' [= grate] ginger, recalls making and drinking punch and mulled ale. [Side 2] Mrs. Jack Barber's grandfather performs traditional spinner's song. Note: Recording date 1951-09 noted by ear, 1951-11-06 written on lacquer disc label.
