[Side 1] Sidney describes in detail how to shoe horse, tells anecdote about particularly restless horse owned by travelling 'didicoy' [= gypsy] that needed multiple 'twitches' [= noose used to restrain horse] to be shod. [Side 2] Sidney compares work ethic now and in past, describes typical working day as blacksmith, lists tools and equipment in forge. Recording date 1952-05-20 noted by ear, 1952-07-01 written on lacquer disc label.
