[Side 1] Roger describes a typical year in sheep farming including dosage for 'flukes' [= parasitic worms], injections, lambing, castrating 'tups' [= male sheep], 'clipping' [= shearing], dipping, 'spaning' [= weaning], docking tails and talks briefly about haytime. [Side 2] Roger describes daily routine on farm, including mucking out, milking and 'foddering' [= feeding] cows, calving and lambing, talks briefly about father, reflects on changes to village, recalls schooldays.
