Ropemaking: Noosing Horn
Description
Ropemaker Herbert Marrison holding the noosing horn, used to make his Marrison loop. The loop is the trademark of all the Marrison ropemakers, and this method of finishing is a family secret. See also LAVC/PHO/S584. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference B96.
