Dry Stone Walling

Description

Mr. Tom Varley laying the first throughs across a dry stone wall at the height of around 2 feet from the ground, to bind the two wall face together ( Ribblesdale). He is repairing a large gap in an old wall with stones available from the collapsed section. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference A125.
