Pillowcase (Norway)
Description
Woven pillowcase from the Sogn og Fjordan region (Norway). The pillowcase is made of wool, is heavily patterned with floral and geometric designs, and dates to around 1650. It is housed at the Norsk Folkemuseum in Oslo. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference B4.
