Hay Harvest
Description
Farm workers gathering harvested hay into sheaves by hand, in a field on the Lleyn Peninsula (North Wales). Traditional methods were still employed at this time, particularly after heavy rain which would not allow the passage and use of heavy vehicles in the field. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference B109.
