Hay Rope and Hay Sledge
Description
Two farmworkers securing a stack of hay covered with rushes (to keep out the rain) using a length of hay rope, in a field on the Lleyn Peninsular (North Wales). This is the main use to which hay ropes are put. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference B120.
