Hay Harvest
Description
Farm workers gathering harvested hay into sheaves by hand, in a field on the Lleyn Peninsula (North Wales). They are helped by a young boy. Ropes made of plaited hay are used to bind the sheaves. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference B110.
