Timbered Dwelling House

Description

Timbered dwelling house on the edge of a forest in Varmland (Sweden). The building is made of timber with plank dressing, and probably dates to the 18th century. It is typical of timbered dwelling houses in southern Varmland and Dalarna. The placename of the village at which the barn is located is recorded in the Slide Index as Sucka, but this location cannot be found in Swedish gazetteers. Originally held in green slide cabinet, reference A101.
