Description
Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of R. W. Winfield, depicting four metal bed frames of various designs. Royal Coat of Arms of the United Kingdom and motto 'Dieu et mon droit' visible at top of card. Remains of previous brown paper mount and glue present on reverse. Manuscript pencil notes on reverse detailing various names and addresses. Transcription: R. W. WINFIELD. Cambridge Street, BIRMINGHAM. Patentee of the Metallic. Military, Travelling & House. Bedsteads, Couches, Sofas, &c. for Home Use & for Exportation. W. E. Edwards & Co., Birmm [Birmingham].
