Description
Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of W. Pearce [William Pearce] with images of lamps surrounding trader details. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse, obscuring manuscript ink note beginning 'Mr Smith'. Transcription: THE CHEAPEST MANUFACTORY IN LONDON. W. PEARCE, Gas Fitter & LANTERN MAKER. 7 Hatton Wall, HATTON GARDEN. ESTIMATES SUBMITTED.
