Highly pictorial 19th century chromolithographed trade card of Bruggeman-Opsomer with large elaborate red frame around edge of card .Trader details and image of ornately carved table and chairs in centre of card. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Enamelled card or carte porcelaine. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse. Flemish-Dutch transcription: BRUGGEMAN-OPSOMER, BOUWKUNDIGEN Fabrick van Meubels, Schrynwerker, trapmaeker, en Timmerman parochie Desteldonck by Gent. Lith. T & D Hemelsoet, Gand. English translation: BRUGGEMAN-OPSOMER, BUILDERS, Furniture manufacturer, Joiner, stair maker, and Carpenter in the parish of Desteldonk in Ghent. Lithography by T. and D. Hemelsoet, Ghent.
