Description

Pictorial 19th century chromolithographed trade card of E. de Coninck with oval panel in centre depicting chair, cabinet and sideboard, surrounded by decorative flourishes. Trader details in a variety of typefaces. Enamelled card or carte porcelaine with two tone coloured inks in reds and oranges. Remains of previous blue paper mount and glue present on reverse. French transcription: E. DE CONINCK, MENUISIER ET ÉBÉNISTE, Quai des Dominicains, No 37, GAND. A l'honneur de se recommander au public pour la construction de toutes sortes de Meubles au dernier goût et à des prix modérés. Lith. de Van de Sterne Frères, rue du Verger 5, Gand.
