Notes on Some Photographs
Description
This file contains a sheet of ms. notes relating to photographs held in the LAVC photographic collections. The author is unidentified. Notes on scythes appear to be related to Werner Kissling's photographs of scythes and scything at Kettlewell, North Yorkshire, in July 1962 (see LAVC/PHO/P0990 -1000). Notes on the parts of the anvil appear to relate to photographs of an anvil at D. Wilson's blacksmith's shop in Edzell, taken in July 1971 (see LAVC/PHO/P0571 and LAVC/PHO/P0572). Notes on the tinker's anvil also appear to relate to photographs taken at D. Wilson's blacksmith's shop (see LAVC/PHO/P0575 and LAVC/PHO/P0576).
