Wagon Distribution Map
Description
Coloured ms. map on a plasticised sheet (transparent), showing the distribution of box wagons and bow wagons in English counties. Also includes a coloured ms. map of Europe showing the North European Cart Zone, Mid-Continental Wagon Zone and South Eurasian Cart Zone. The map is accompanied by a typed letter from Frank Atkinson, Director of Halifax Museums, to Harold Orton regarding a Folk Life course at Halifax (18 November 1957), which identifies Mr. Jenkins as the author of the map.
