Description
Pictorial 19th century lithographed trade card of A. Kneib [Antoine Kneib]. Images of both sides of 1862 International Exhibition Medal at top of card. One side features motto 'Londini Honoris Causa' with laurel leaves and other depicts Britannia with lion surrounded by representations of Industry, Agriculture and The Arts offering her gifts. Trader details in a variety of typefaces. Transcription: A. KNEIB, CABINET MAKER 26, RUE DE LYON, PARIS. Agent - A. AIMÉ, 27, Raphael Street, Knightsbridge, London, S. W. PARIS, 1855. LONDON, 1862.
