H. Thornton trade card

Description

Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of H. Thornton with large image of horse and cart carrying various items of furniture. Seated figure with top hat commands horses with whip. Trader details in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Printed street name 'Clund' has been crossed out, with manuscript ink note 'Church' written underneath. Transcription: H.
