Description
Pictorial 19th century engraved trade card of D. Cole. Trader details inscribed on unfurled scroll in centre of card, in a variety of typefaces with decorative flourishes. Woman in classical dress holding paint palette and brush to left of scroll with winged putto to right. Trees visible in background. Transcription: D. COLE, House Painter and GLAZIER, No. 3, Little East Cheap London. Writing, Graining, Marbling and Ornamental Painting. B. Oliver Sc. 5, Bride Lane, Bridge St Blackfriars.
