Le Blond Regal Set of needlebox prints
Description
19th century set of Abraham Le Blond needlebox prints showing print registration holes to left. 'Regal Set' of ten oblong colour scenes depicted on one sheet, to be cut and affixed to needleboxes. Originally printed on same sheet as 'Fancy Set'. The scenes depict H.R.H. Prince Albert at St James's Park on horse, H.R.H. Queen Victoria hunting at Balmoral on horse, H.R.H. Queen Victoria at Windsor on horse, The Great Exhibition of 1851 at Crystal Palace, Her Majesty leaving Portsmouth Harbour, boats at Venice, Balmoral, Brothers Water, Her Majesty opening Parliament and Osborne House.
