Manuscript ink note of customer name Major Farquharson dated 6 Jan 1832 on front of card, with note on reverse regarding regarding delivery of five cases to Major Farquharson. Transcription: J. ALLEN, Camp Equipage, Trunk, Sea Chest and Plate Case MAKER, No 22, Strand (2 doors from Hungerford St) Canteens & Liquor Cases for the Army & Navy. Leather Portmanteaus on the improved principle.
