Concert Party
Description
Copy of a photographic postcard dating from around 1916/1917, of an all-female concert party group dressed in pierrot-like costumes. The women are thought to be Miss Lena Ashwell's Concert Party (possibly including Lena Ashwell), and the photograph taken whilst they were entertaining British Expeditionary Force troops in France during World War One.
