Loading the Hay Wagon
Description
Copy of a photograph taken in the 1930s, of two farmworkers loading a hay wagon at harvest time, in a field at Rudston (East Riding of Yorkshire). The wagon is a pole wagon, and is drawn by a two-horse team. One worker stands in the hay wagon, whilst the other pitches the hay into it. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note.
