Delivery Wagon
Description
Copy of a photograph taken in the early 20th century of a delivery wagon at Burdale Station (on the Driffield to Malton line), Burdale (North Yorkshire). The wagon appears to be loaded with timber and sacks of flour, and is drawn by a three-horse team (one in front, two behind). The waggoner rides postilion on the horse on the left of the back pair. Mounted on Photo File card with LAVC/PHO/P1717. With ms. note. Originally held in Photo File: Community Life.
