Farmworker in Sunday Best
Description
Copy of a photograph taken in the early 20th century of farmworker, Mr. Masterman, in his Sunday best, standing in the living room of a house in Thorngumbald (East Riding of Yorkshire). His best clothes consist of cleaned-up working clothes. His leggings are made of box cloth, which does not fray at the seams and so does not need stitching. Mounted on Photo File card. With ms. note.
