Brighouse Pace Eggers

Description

Copy of a photograph taken in the 1940s, of members of the Brighouse Children's Theatre performing a pace egg play in the open air at Brighouse (West Yorkshire). The Doctor, wearing a top hat and dark suit, has his back to the camera, whilst two other characters [?St. George and Black Prince] engage in a sword fight. Most of the players are dressed in costumes consisting of a decorated head-dress, worn with a white tunic decorated with rosettes.
