Crow Dancers

Description

Copy of a photograph, printed on paper, of crow dancers performing a crow dance in a field in Moulton (Cheshire). The dancer in the centre of the picture is dressed as a scarecrow, and wears an old mac with arms stuffed with straw, and a black mask with eyeholes. He holds a sign reading Relic's [sic] of the Cornfield. Printed on paper with LAVC/PHO/P2162. This image is held in the Folk Life File at LAVC/FLF/14/3/1, with a copy of a typed paper, 'Relics of the Cornfields', on the crow dance, its performance and its origins.
