Timber Buyer's Scribble

Description

Timber buyer's scribble with blade in position for drawing a full circle, Low Row ( Swaledale). The scribble is an implement with a wooden handle and two blades, one sharp like a compass blade for drawing circles, and the other for drawing straight lines, used for marking trees bought as timber. The marking was made by Robert Hunter of Castle Bolton.
