Brighouse Pace Eggers

Description

Copy of a photograph taken in the 1940s, of members of the Brighouse Children's Theatre performing a pace egg play in the open air at Brighouse (West Yorkshire). The Doctor, wearing a top hat and dark suit, attends to a character [?St. George] injured in the sword fight that has just taken place. Most of the players are dressed in costumes consisting of a decorated head-dress, worn with a white tunic decorated with rosettes.
