Undated oil sketch by Edward Petre Novello, of figures surrounding a person in bed, who appears to be attended to by a standing figure in the background and several seated figures in the foreground, one of which appears to be praying. It may be a preparatory study for an original composition or a loose copy after an existing work by another artist.
