Description
Undated oil sketch by Edward Petre Novello, of a sunset or sunrise above a landscape. The sun and some of the clouds are painted in impasto, with peach coloured clouds towards the top. A blue band across the bottom might indicate the sea beyond a shore painted in loose brushstrokes in brown.
