Description
Undated oil sketch by Edward Petre Novello, of a woodland scene with two figures and a brown horse. The standing figure is wearing a suit of armour with a red cape and plumed helmet, while the seated figure is dressed in plain clothes of brown and blue with a red hat. It is possibly a depiction of an existing literary narrative.
