Description
Undated oil sketch by Edward Petre Novello, of two figures on rocks by the sea. The nude figure in the foreground is seated on a red cloak and holds a sword in their proper right hand, behind which is a standing figure in a white dress and veil. The reverse contains two preparatory pencil sketches of seated nude figures.
