Description
Undated and untitled oil sketch on board of Clara Anastasia Novello by her brother Edward Petre Novello. Clara is depicted at half length in the process of putting on a pair of white gloves. An inscription on ink on the reverse of the mount records that the portrait was given to Porzia Gigliucci by her uncle (Joseph) Alfred Novello in 1878.
